Terms and Conditions for Giveaway

1. Introduction Welcome to the Wiah’s Giveaway to win a 1-year supply of free compost bags. By participating, you agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility The Contest is open to legal residents of the United States and are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

3. Contest Period The Contest begins on August 1, 2024 at 12:01 AM PST and ends on June 1, 2025 at 11:59 PM PST (the "Giveaway Period"). Entries received after the Giveaway Period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter:

   • Enter name and email at page: https://www.hellowiah.com/packaging , and submit form.

5. Entry:

   • One entry per person.​

   • For each of the first 1,000 entries, we will donate to 4ocean to remove 0.1 pounds of plastic from the ocean (equivalent to 100 plastic straws). Donation will be made after the giveaway ends. 

6. Winner Selection One winner will be chosen by random.

7. Prize The winner will receive a 1-year supply of free compost bags. Note: 1 household uses around 1-2 compost bags a week, so we will be providing 3 rolls of Wiah bags to the winner.

8. Notification Winner will be notified by June 27, 2025 via email and announced on Instagram once the winner has been confirmed. Winner must respond within 7 days to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time frame may result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of an alternate winner. 

9. Release and Limitation of Liability By participating, you agree to release and hold harmless Wiah, and their respective affiliates, partners, employees, and agents from any liability, loss, or damage arising from your participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.

10. General Conditions

    • Wiah reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these Terms and Conditions.

    • Wiah reserves the right to cancel the Giveaway if fraud or technical failures impair the integrity of the Giveaway.

    • Any attempt to undermine the legitimate operation of the Giveaway is a violation of these Terms and Conditions and may be punishable by law.

11. Disclaimer This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, and Wix. By participating, you release Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Wix from any and all liability related to the Giveaway.

12. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
